For Sale: affordable & reliable 2003 Mazda6i Reduced price!
I'm selling my trusty black mazda 6i. This car stayed with me for my last year of the college and 5 years of working. It was used mainly for commute between school or work, never used for road trip or anything like it. Mechanically the car runs great, no major problems. The car was up in Bay Area for first 2 years or so, so the air condition was never needed to be turn on, so AC is still running cold, a must during such hot summer days in LA. Additionally in such day and age of skyrocketing gas prices, driving a stick just makes sense. A full tank of gas (13 gallon i think) will provide you with roughly 350 miles run. Great mileage and a decent looking 4-door sedan car design, this car is perfect as a beater car or use it for everyday commute purpose. Here are some of the detail:
- 81,800 miles
- Original owner
- 2.3L, 160HP
- Manual Transmission
- Sports package but the front lip spoiler is not mounted on.
- Upgraded to 19 inch Mazdaspeed6 alloy wheel.
- Upgraded the shift with a short shifter
- tinted 45% windows
- I always had the transparent cover to cover up the carpet to avoid rain/dirt damage to the carpets, so the carpet's looks just like new
- Upgraded with Philip 6000K HID Xenon light
- I've just spent $1,200 this Feb replacing the clutch (have copy of receipt) so the clutch's good for another 100,000 miles or depends on how you drive.
- Unfortunately the engine light just started to stay on. Engine doesn't have any problem according to the Mazda dealer. Technician is thinking the gas cap might need to be replaced because of air from outside mixing in. They will replace it for free, however I haven't been able to take it to the dealer.
- 2, 3 dents at the rear driver side door as shown in the picture
- the LED display isn't displaying properly as shown in the picture
- two bulges from the bottom of the car chassis (where the leg area for the front driver and passenger side is). This was caused by the improper placement of the jack when my brother was trying to jack the car up. Thus i've deducted roughly $300 for such issue.
- Car had been in an accident where the front bumper had to be replaced.
- Asking for $7,000 $6,000 or best offer (reduced price!).
- Buyer please be advised we will need to wait for the check (money order, cashier's check) to be cleared before I finalize the deal (hand in the keys!). I need to verify the authenticity with the issuing bank - not just my bank, which could take a week or longer.
- Alternatively we can go to the bank together for the money order.
