too many serious entry lately, here's something fun. 我覺得以前的 remix 比較好聽...

New browser in Town: Flock

Well technically it's not that new because Flock is based on Mozilla, which is what FireFox is based on. But it seems like Flock is aiming to create a differnet type of web expereince by incorporating the ability to create blog entry within your browser. And thanks to Jimbo, I could try the early demo of flock. EDIT: Now you can get a copy too This so-called "social web browser" is like a new Magic Wand tools for all you blogging wizards (and fairies) out there. It enables you to drag and drop certain text on the web site that you are reading and create a blog post automatically with cited tag and the link to the original blog post, you can also drag and drop Flickr photos as well, and there are some other minor features such as utilization of del.icio.us and the use of new bookmark concept: tagging (although a little bit old idea) Now this is where my stubborness gets me. Since i don't use any of the main stream blogging engine (because I want to be bloody unique), this function is pretty much not useful for me at all. So I can't really comment too much on how easy it is. So here's some random thought on Flock as a browser: + Very fast, and by that I mean it's just as fast as Safari. Now that was one of the reason i stopped using Firefox on Mac because Firefox on mac is just HELLA slow. But I do miss a lot of thing that I could do with FireFox that I couldn't with Safari such as instant translation from Simplified Chinese to Traditonal Chinese on the fly, some mouse gesture extension. And this leads to next thought + Since it's based on FireFox, supposedly you can use all the Firefox plugin you want, but I tried to install some of the common one I use, and it doesn't work. + Seems like every browser wants to include a RSS reader now. So far i haven't been able to get the RSS feed to function correctly, but it's probably just me. + The concept of “tagging” isn’t very new. You pretty much see them on all your mp3s, all the Apple applications (iPhoto) or Flickr. Now you see them in Flock too. The tagging system in the bookmark is quite useful if you are like me who is just to lazy to organize my bookmark by folders with different category, you can simply tag the link with multiple category like “design,” “photography,” etc so when you click on the tag, the site with those tags will show up. + del.icio.us is one neat feature too for those who doesn’t have any adult web site bookmarked in your browser, and for those who can’t share enough links on their blogs already, and still want to share bookmark on any other web site. And for those of you who doesn’t know what del.icio.us is, this is a tool where you can share your bookmark online (social bookmarks). The bookmark tool will make it easier too. Pros: + very fast on Mac + Easy Blogging tools + new tagging bookmark system + incorporation of del.icio.us for those of you who care Cons: + There really isn't too much cons with Flock right now since it utilize the already popular Mozilla Engine, and also added some small neat features along with it. But if there has to be one, I have to say Flock is too focused on one particular Internet user group, and if you don’t do any of those, this is just like another browser. Stick with Safari, Camino, or Firefox if you like. (However the speed and the new bookmark tagging could be enough to convince you to switch) *Above comments are based on version 0.4.8. I can see what Flock is trying to do by making it easier for bloggers to create their blog post. However I don't think the idea is all that revolutional at all. You'll find bloggers praise Flock all over the internet pretty soon while other people (like me) who could careless about blogging. To me if a product is too dependant on other product (in Flock's case, Blogging engine, Flickr) it would be really difficult to survive. And not to forget, making it easier to quote other people's stuff on the internet doesn't really mean it's exciting, you'll probably just see same stuff quoted over and over again because every last bloggers over Internet is using Flock and quoting the same stuff. If you have seen some buzz word like "social networking," community," "web2.0" you definitely read more than 5 blogs a day, and you know you only see those word on those blogs. This just show how shallow all those bloggers are, everyone wants to talk about it, everyone quoted it, everyone wants to brand their stuff with it, but no one really came up with anything revolutional. Put it simply, it's just a bunch of people who like to write diary wanting to change the world. Too bad, I don't think it's going to happen (Even with Flock in hand)

Ok I watched another fucking movie. It's called Save the green planet. And it's fucking great! "Save the green planet" is a korean movie depicting the main character Lee Byeong-Gu's believe in existance of Alien. He went around kidnapping people and use various torturing method to make them confess.

I've been watching Japanese films in past couple of days, and going back to Korean film is a nice switch. Compare to Japanese film, Korean film has much more impact to the audience rather than the abstract events that happens in Japanese film (but sitll nice) and led you wonder. Having said that, "Saving the green planet" isn't just ordinary either, there's blend of different genre all together, psycholotical thriller, comedic, sci-fi, mystery..etc which is really unique in its own way. And don't think it's like a comedy, which I orignally thought it was, but it gives you the intensified feeling like the movie "Saw" gives you. Definately recommend for you all. Directing: 4/5 It's the debut film of the director Jang Jun-hwan, and he has definately done some good job in this film Script: 3/5 Very simple script, and it really had been done for so many time already. For example the '90s' "Mystery" or a more recent "Saw" all have similar plot.

童夢奇緣 Wait ‘Til You’re Older

Recommended by a friend, I watched this movie "Wait'til you're older." It's Andy Lau's first 2005 appearance on Hong Kong movie screens. Andy Lau casts as 光仔, the aging version of the main child character. 光仔 wishes to leave the house because he never got along with his step mother and thinking that she and his dad killed his mother who was engadged in an affair with his dad. His mother commited suicide in protest of the affair, thus 光仔 blamed his dad and step mother for her death. Now in order for him to leave the house and be independent, he needs money and be a grown man. Thanks to the sci-fi part of the movie, a rapid growing liquid was invented to make him into a gronw man in one night. However the adult life that he had hoped isn't as easy as he thought. Originally I thought it was more of coming of the age movie, it turned out the script writer wanted to convey more than that, and unfortunately with so many message that the movie is trying to convince, it became too rapid and too out of focus. During many encounters as an adult, 光仔 came to realize that a lot of time he (as a kid) only saw one side of the situation, and there are more complicated side that adult has to be face with. His finding of his favorite teacher having affair with school's vice superattendant, his dad had to pretend that he forgot about his blooded-related mother in order to be with his real wife, and eventually, the meaning of a family all contributed to his understanding of adulthood. Now ironically, just like his quick understand of what being an adult is, he is also aging so fast that he died becoming too old. And there is another problem where he learned the valuable lesson on how important time is. The really down side of the movie is the unbalanced story telling at the beginning and rather bold connection wtih each event. However at the end you can tell the director is becoming more focused on something, and that's why I would say stick with the movie till the end, you'll be rewarded. The music on the other hand has really good touchy-feely melody to it, but it was too overdone, and for a while I thought i was watching a Disney movie. Haven't been watching too many HK movie lately because of the inactivity of the whole HK film industry..I'm glad I watched this one, and would recommend to my friends. Directing: 3/5 Director 陳德森(Teddy Chen) won my heart for many descent shot through out the movie, also how he tells the story. However, very unbalanced. Script: 4/5 I like the story, and it could be another descent movie if the directing wasn't too out of focused. Overall: 4/5 4 is acutally too high for this movie, but considering how I haven't seen any good HK movie lately because they kept on making the damn sequels to other good moves, and also good acting of both kid and Andy Lau, i think it deserves higher score.

It’s official, the new James Bond will be Daniel Craig

Probably not a lot of people would be interested in it, but our British gentle man/spy/hero has a new character, and it's Daniel Craig. He'll be in next 007 movie "Casion Royale" as the new James Bond. I don't know what he's famous for, but Daniel Craig has been in several quality movie like "Elizabeth", "Road to Perdition", and more recently, "Layer Cake." He definately pulled really good performance in it. Now I like Daniel Craig as he is, and I am really excited for this guy being a new Bond, but imagine him being James Bond is really difficult for me. To me Craig has this "villain" type of chracterisitc in him, he can be bad guys in "Tomb Raider", or the gangster in the "Layer Cake"...but him being a really charming and gentle looking of James Bond..I'm not so sure. I guess we'll see next year!

Takeshi Kitano (北野武) 的火花 Hana-Bi

北野武是我聽過很久的名字, 但我從來沒好好的去研究他是誰, 因為對我來說北野武根本就是日本 yakuza 的代表. 但這位被我與日本黑社會放上等號的演員卻是在 90 年代對全世界的人來說日本電影導演的代表人物之一. 直到最近我一直對日本電影沒有特別大的興趣, 因為除了一些無聊 + 便宜 3D 製作的的動作片 (像 "忍" Shinobi, 或者金成武的 returner) , 恐怖片 (The ring), 或者是超現實的暴力形態電影 (殺手阿一), 比較好一點的電影則都有日本電影很傳統的拍攝手法跟傳統的劇作方式, 而這些元素讓大多日本電影沒有所謂的高潮, 只有傳統的起, 承, 轉, 合. 而這也是讓我討厭的地方. 起初我也是很盲目的認為北野武的電影大概也是這樣, 不過在看了 "火花" (Hana-Bi) 後, 我才知道為什麼全世界的人都喜歡北野武. 因為在他的電影裡他就像是在交響樂團裡的指揮, 整個電影的節奏, 高低全部都是他在控制. 你還是可以看得到傳統的起, 承, 轉, 合, 不過北野武用不同的風格呈現給你 - 北野武的風格. 火花是北野武在威尼斯國際影展得到金獅獎的作品. 是由他自己主演, 導演, 編制的作品. 電影裡當警察的男主角因為太太的不治之症, 離開本來在跟蹤的崗位去醫院, 留下他的同事兼好朋友一人站崗, 而後被跟蹤的犯人發現開槍射死. 在之後追緝犯人時, 男主角不只把個人因素帶進去, 還連帶連累了另外兩位同事, 之後因為罪惡感離開了警局. 帶者罪惡感和受到現實生活生存壓力的男主角向高利貸借錢陪賞給死去同事的太太, 最後還搶銀行, 在帶著自己的太太開始不知道什麼時候會結束的旅遊. 火花的故事是很平常, 很簡單的編劇, 但這也是北野武拍攝風格突出的地方. 北野武的風格就像日本武士一樣, 平常時平淡, 冷靜, 但必要時會出奇不意地給你來個一擊必殺的一刀. 電影裡男主角也是在對方事前一點也沒準備時給對方一拳 (或幾顆子彈). 電影裡慢慢的劇情加上這突如其來的高潮對我來說是很新鮮的. 北野武也沒讓我失望, 在整部片裡同樣的技巧卻沒有感到重複的感覺. 在瞬間的暴力狂野之後就是北野武的溫柔和感性. 整部片的取景雖然不算是溫馨, 但也有那種小品式的感覺, 而且是那種帶點淡淡無可奈何的感覺. 明明是男主角夫妻一起拍照, 明明是遊山玩水, 但就是有那被壓抑的感覺...當然久石讓 (Joe Hisaishi, Princess Monoke, etc) 很濃厚的編曲在這也是有很大的貢獻. 在 "火花" 裡你可以看到北野武的山, 北野武的海, 北野武的暴力, 電影裡的一切都有北野武的節奏存在. 對想看北野武作品的人建議從 "火花" 開始, 而不要像我一樣認為他只會演 yakuza!

lazy man’s (asian man’s) simple recipe to 3 successful onigiri

Okay, I'm starting a new series in my web site, and guess what's it called? "Food Review," yes simpo as that. Onigiri is a very traditional Japanese-style type of food where you mold the rice together into certain type of shape, it could be triangular (as in the picture) or a ball shape, sometimes people wrap a piece of 海苔 around it, and of course, you can do other fancier stuff to it (like baking it with soy sauce seasoning, etc) as long as it sells. However when I say traditional, it doesn't necessarily mean it's one of those fancy traditional Japanese food that are very expensive. Onigiri are, in fact, very GHETTO. I can't think of any food, assuming onigiri is a food, any more ghetto-er than onigiri. Now for most people out there (by people I meant FOBs who's single, and by that I mean me) who loves rice (yeah, fuck noodles) but just too lazy to cook, Mizkan has an answer for you. mizkan Omusubiyama Yaki-Tarako When you open it up, it comes with 4 pockets where it has seasoning in it. You mix it with the rice that you cooked, and then start working on your hand magic - molding those seasoned rice into whatever shape you like, and there, it's done. Whole process only took me 5 min to do it and I have a ghetto dinner prepared for myself. Pretty easy eh? Appearance: rainbow colored seasoning on my beloved rice? ha, 4/5 Taste judge: Aside from being too salty (partially my fault because I didn't realized there are actually SALT in it,i coudln't see once the white salt are mixed with white rice, and i was trying to make my onigiri more colorful so I threw in so many pocket in it), it acutally taste better than I thought. 4/5 Fear Factor: 0/5, the rice looks fucking good on the cover Health implications: Well from the label at the back it looks pretty good to me, no fat, 5 Calories, and 34mg of sodium. But I can't speak for those artificial seasoning tho, i think they are pretty bad for me, so 3/5 Bang for the buck: @ $1.75 for 4 pockets, and approximately 5 to 6 onigiri made, I give it 3/5. Final Judgement: I love it, no weird taste, and it's easy, no complains, so 5/5

專輯介紹： 要如何介紹這樣一個全新的聲音呢？真的很讓我頭疼，他有著偶像的潛質，更具備全能創作人的實力。當然最吸引大家的還是那種輕哼低唱、時尚古風的曲風，的確頗有几份類似周董的調調。 后弦有著非常自我的音樂理念與創作能力，首張大碟『古﹒玩』被定義為全創專輯，之所以稱之為全創，是因為整張專輯所有歌曲，從詞、曲到后期的編曲、制作，全由后弦一人包辦。經過與台灣資深錄音師的熟練磨合，全力打造而成。 “古”：古色古香 暗示著整張專輯曲風的骨子里都繼承著古典宮調式音樂的脈絡，從詞，曲上會讓大家強烈地感覺到一股青花陶瓷的味道。 “玩”：玩轉流行 即是要把之前的古典宮調式音律，用現今最流行的R&B，Hip-Hop，說唱，Pop,電子等等音樂手法“玩轉”起來！PLAY---玩轉宮調R&B音樂的概念，自由地貫穿于《古﹒玩》的每一個音符中。 當后弦遇上周杰倫…… 乍一聽后弦的音樂還真有點像周董的風格，但是當你細細品味，你會發現兩人之間還是有很多的區別，周董帶動了流行音樂的新風潮，也將R&B、Hip -Hop、Rap的音樂風格進行了融合，對華語流行音樂來說是至關重要的。后弦的音樂更為傳統，更有古典韻味，非常地道的中國風，在曲風上也將西洋音樂與 民族音樂相互結合，漸漸開創一個屬于他獨特的弦式音樂。而用后弦自己的話來說：“音樂就像物種，我的音樂起源于JAY，但僅僅是進化的開始……我，跟的是 一個時代，而不是一個人。”善于學習，善于借鑒，也是后弦音樂創作上的靈感源泉。 《古﹒玩》弦式音樂的首部曲 《古﹒玩》從腦袋里蹦到腦袋外頭，如十個頑皮孩童的降臨，整整花了一百天。一百天里，東、西交匯的PLAY音樂精神在時間雕琢中、在歌迷加油聲中，漸漸醞 釀長大﹔詞曲、編曲、制作、監制……，每道環節，就象在秘制著一道道私房菜﹔錄音棚就是后弦的廚房﹔希望最后端上來的，是一席讓耳朵陶醉享用的美味大餐。 但愿后弦每天的一分努力，匯聚成音樂的full mark。 專輯命名為《古﹒玩》，有著特別的含義，也代表了后弦音樂風格的形成。同時也傳達了許多屬于弦式音樂的全新概念，讓我們從后弦自己的介紹中先了解一下吧。 為何取名《古﹒玩》？ 后弦說：“希望我的音樂就象經時間雕琢的精致古玩一樣，因為只有古玩這樣的藝朮品，才能超越流行！成為一種越品越有味道，越賞越流行的東西。”，后弦要用自己積累的時間沉澱，雕琢出大家喜歡收藏的流行音樂。 “宮調R&B”是怎樣一個理念？ 弦說：宮調式唱法，屬于自己文化骨子里的東西，即古代韻律中的一種音律走向，它與R&B音樂風格常用的大調有很多相似之處。此外，古代宮調式咿呀 的拉音與轉音，與西方R&B中的轉音技巧也驚人的如出一轍。所以兩者能融合得非常地流暢。宮調式的加入，讓曲調“青花”味更濃重，更具有本土東方 色彩，而不失流行的魅力。把宮調式與R&B類流行元素結合起來，能讓民族超越傳統，流行回歸民族，演繹出自己獨特風格的東西。 對“后現代”一詞如何理解？ 后弦說：后現代是一種感受，每個人都有自己的理解，對我來說，用宮調做流行，用古典折射出現代，借古喻今，就是對后現代弦音的其中一種理解。 本張專輯在演繹上有何特點？ 后弦說：整張專輯的曲調在唱腔上，按歌曲的分類，基本上加入了宮調式的唱法，這種即傳統，又帶著些R&B的轉音技巧的唱法，是兩種中西風格能在歌曲中完美融合起來的最大原因。也是自己的最大特色。 本張專輯的音樂結構是如何安排的？ 弦說：這張專輯在題材上風格多樣，古，今，文藝復興，幻想，寫實，進行了許多嘗試，風格也以宮調R&B為主，還配合了Hip-Hop，說唱，Pop,電子等等音樂手法，希望能帶給大家層次丰富的音樂體驗。 曲目介紹： ◎解讀弦音傳奇 中國古典文學與流行音樂的結合 《西廂》 引用名著《西廂記》，用自己理解的方式，描述出一段帶著些詩情畫意的青澀愛情，宮調式曲調加R&B風格的咿呀吟唱，把古代小說般的敘事句式婉婉道 來，從開頭黃梅調的咿呀吟唱，到東西方樂器的水乳交融，歌曲中傳遞著后現代的浪漫感覺，過門穿插著的黃梅唱腔，濃郁的南方水鄉口音，把古代的意境再次提 升，十二年前的書生在西廂偶遇小姐時的情竇初開，十二年后金榜題名回來的人去樓空，一段經典的古代愛情，折射出現代含義的感情線條，這種借古喻今的感覺， 可能就是后弦的后現代音樂風格，極易接受的宮調式流行旋律，極易讓人沉醉的意境。讓《西廂》成為了后弦宮調式R&B音樂的代表作品。 《橋段》 橋段，原意為電影中的一個個情節片段，《橋段》用倒敘的結構，開頭老唱片感覺的古曲《春江花月夜》搖身一變成為了一段頑皮的說唱，兒時的城牆，課堂，初戀 徐徐浮現，之后的R&B流行音樂節奏，將爛漫的兒時片段一個個烘托起來：爺爺奶奶的浪漫邂逅，爸爸放的老電影，媽媽慈祥的嘮叨，中間一段琵琶演繹 的《月亮代表我的心》變奏，把大家的心倒回了十几年前的單純往事中。《橋段》，勾起的是大家兒時心中埋藏多年的橋段。 《小白》 小白，原為《蠟筆小新》中那只可愛的小白狗，后來成了大家最喜歡用的昵稱外號。開門見山的“啦啦”聲，把《小白》的單純脫俗的意境帶了出來，單純的大調， 單純的節奏，加上小白口吻的單純歌詞，讓你几乎還不到半分鐘，就能隨著舒服的節奏跟著琅琅上口了，《小白》把單純戀愛中的“小白”獨有的單純心境，用近乎 小孩子的口吻說了出來，小白這個形象，正是大家心目中那個初戀的女孩。編曲上，配以如今流行的節奏，說唱，吉他華彩，把復雜的編配做成了簡單的感覺，聽起 來簡單，其實不簡單。 《逃學書童》 以逃學為題材的歌曲，在歌壇尚屬首例，開頭一段私塾中的唐詩朗誦，聽見有書童不禁敲打節奏配合的聲音，再傳出教書先生嚴厲的斥責聲，然而敲打節奏再次響 起，一段“笙”樂器的SOLO，帶入頑皮的HIP-HOP節奏曲風，輕快而隨意流暢地說唱，古典中夾雜著叛逆，把新人類的真實想法表現得淋漓盡致。以逃學 書童的口吻，對書中的唐詩宋詞進行了頑皮的“修改”。歌詞中的“逃學書童”，其實是一個拒絕受封建教學體制束縛，心中卻抱有自我音樂追求的書童，古代的書 童，指專門幫人背書，為別人讀書的人，書童二字，點破了當今學習負擔過重的學生在應試教育體制下“為別人讀書”的尷尬負擔。以古代背景來批判現代教育的紕 漏，是一首具有勇氣的歌曲。此外，整首歌在演唱和編曲上都帶著濃郁的宮調色彩。突然跳出來的一段蘇格蘭小提琴加拍手聲的踢踏音樂，更為音樂加入了另類童趣 的特別感受。 《只愛火星人》 “火星人”這一流行詞匯，是從網絡上傳開的，也在周星馳的《少林足球》里變成了經典旁白，俗指什么都不知道的家伙，而《只愛火星人》中，失戀的年輕人寧愿 去找頭腦簡單的火星人，也不愿再面對地球的復雜愛情糾纏，是一首帶著年少輕狂爛漫幻想的“新情歌”。充滿蘇格蘭風格與電子風格的輕搖滾旋律糅合在一起，加 上不加修飾的隨心唱法，把年輕人失戀后的那種無助與無奈表現了出來，在編曲上，小提琴與京胡的流暢協奏，帶來一股清新脫俗的特別效果。輕輕的節奏說唱，突 出了少年煩惱的心理狀態，很容易引起大家的共鳴，古典傳統與外星科幻的結合，令人回味不已。 《東愛》 很湊巧，《東京愛情故事》的簡稱也叫“東愛”，細細一聽，方知此東愛非彼東愛也，《東愛》描述的是“東方的愛情故事”，描寫著古代一對情侶用詩句謎語偷偷 傳情，最后受封建禮教束縛，小姐出嫁他人，兩人心碎分離的浪漫淒美片段，開頭的宮調味濃郁的高低和音，整首歌詞采用唐詩的“五絕”格式，如念詩句般，酥酥 綿綿讓人陶醉其中。 《哥德巴赫猜》 著名的數學猜想和流行歌曲有關聯嗎，在這首歌中，兩者之間被賦予了奇妙的聯系，兩個人一加一的感情復雜困惑，就算大師猜一輩子也沒結果，《哥德巴赫猜》做 了一次古典R&B的大膽嘗試。歌曲以一段十八世紀西方古典鋼琴曲為開頭，隨即加入濃重R&B節奏，到高潮時甚至加入了Swing風格，做 了一次新的嘗試，過門和結尾出跳出的鋼琴吉他協奏，配上了戲曲腔調的吟唱，讓整首歌曲充滿了東西方大膽碰撞的火花。 《給安娜》 一段俄羅斯的悠揚風琴徐徐入耳，不禁讓人想起《莫斯科郊外的晚上》，加上隨后的中式長笛，編織出一段淒美的異國戀情。歌詞中，兩人天各一方，只能用書信的 方式表達思念之情，一邊是京城，一邊是莫斯科，不同的文化背景，相同的切切思念，整段音樂穿著插風琴與長笛聲，構成了或古或洋的情歌是《給安娜》的最大亮 點。 《踢館》 從神秘的開場到跳躍HIP-HOP節奏的爆發，加上中間穿插的京劇鼓點與咿呀唱腔，《踢館》用戲劇性極強的情節，把一種出生牛犢不怕虎的果斷精神和民族氣 節傳遞給了出來，屬專輯中聽覺效果比較出彩的歌曲，國粹京劇演繹的半RAP半唱的花旦腔和聲，真假音結合的高潮部分，從開頭的拔刀，踢門闖入，到過門的敲 門，出招，把整個音樂劇情渲染得張力十足，總的來說，歌曲融入了濃重的后現代音樂氣息，讓人不禁驚嘆。天馬行空的想象派歌詞，傳達著“后生可畏”的氣勢。 更重要的是，今年是抗日戰爭勝利六十周年。后弦在踢誰的館，不言而喻。 《十有八九》 相愛的時候與分手的時候，戀人的第六感直覺都是十有八九的准確和強烈。這是一首講述分手離別時灰色心態的情歌，從分手時的情景描述，到高潮時用當初相遇與 分離作的反差對比，帶著些庸懶的唱法，吉他與鋼琴的R&B風格旋律，把失戀的回憶和兩人之間的痛苦掩飾表現得淋漓盡致，從開頭到高潮，“好聽的悲 傷”是最大的突出點 專輯曲目： 01. 西廂 02. 橋段 03. 小白 04. 逃學書童 05. 只愛火星人 06. 東愛 07. 哥德巴赫猜 08. 給安娜 09. 踢館 10. 十有八九
